On completion of the course, you will be able to:

1.Understand the principles of safe navigation through the effective application of the collision regulations

2.Be able to complete basic chartwork to support vessel operations in the near coastal area

3.Be able to obtain and interpret information that is essential to safe navigation.

4.Understand the basic principles of watchkeeping
