New qualification in fish frying skills

developed by Seafish and the NFFF

The Qualification is for experienced fish friers.

Areas covered are:
fish preparation; batter preparation; potato preparation; frying skills; food hygiene; health and safety.

· Self study workbooks allow candidates to study where they like, when they like and at a pace that suits them.
· An approved assessor will conduct an on-site assessment (multiple choice exam paper and practical tasks).
· On-site assessment lasts between 3 to 4 hours.
· Successful candidates receive a certificate recognized by Seafish and the National Federation of Fish Friers.
